Iran, Scuola di Abu Talib Al Mudarris, XIX secolo . -. Cm 4,50 x 21,00. Con angoli smussati e cassetto a scorrimento contente gli strumenti da calligrafo, la superficie dipinta con cartucce lobate rosse su sfondo decorato con soggetti vegetali intrecciati o nero sulla base del vassoio.
Lo stile è caratteristico dell'opera di AbuTalib Al Mudarris, alcune delle sue opere si possono trovare al Musé Malek di Teheran ed un qalamdan similmente decorato è stato venduto da Christie's Londra, asta 1148, 10 ottobre 2013, lotto 106.

Iran, school of Abu Talib Al Mudarris, 19th century . . Cm 4,50 x 21,00. With curved sides and sliding tray, painted with cusped cartouches on a vegetal decorated ground. The exterior decorated with similar cartouches on a red ground.
In the style of AbuTalib Al Mudarris, some of his works are kept in the Malek museum of Teheran and a similar pencase has been sold at Christie's London, auction 1148, 10 October 2013, lot 106.
